Complainant owns several domain names starting with WWE and also has trademarks in several jurisdictions for the term “WWE”.  Few of the domains owned by the complainant are wwe.in, wwe.asia, wwe.ae, wwe.com.ar, wwe.me, wwe.co.kr, wwe.eu, wwe.com.br, wwe.co, wwe.co.il, wwe.co.ve…etc.

WWE is a popular sport which also has secondary meaning in several jurisdictions. Respondent has not filed any response and also not operating any website using the disputed domain name wwetshirt.in




Arbitrator Mr Vinod K. Agarwal has concluded the case with the following notes:

“Disputed domain name is confusingly similar to the trademark in which the complainant has rights, that the respondent has no rights or legitimate interests in respect of the domain name, and that the domain name was registered in bad faith and is being used in bad faith, in accordance with the Policy and the Rules, the Arbitrator orders the disputed domain name to be transferred to the Complainant”
