A tea brand Teabox founded by Kausshal Dugarr is a Bengaluru-based online premium has raised an undisclosed amount of funding.

The NB ventures a Dubai based family office of Neelesh Bhatnagar invested in the funding round. The company’s current investor Accel Partners also participated in the round. Before this fundraising, it had also raised around $13 Mn.

The company founded in 2012 by Kausshal Dugar and has its warehouse in Siliguri from where it does its shipping to more than 117 countries.

It focuses on the branding, sourcing, and distribution of teas and works with around 150+ plantations in Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, and Nepal.

It has worldwide popularity specifically in the United States, India, and Russia selling the Indian premium teas to the consumers.

It is focusing on the offline expansion and has opened the stores at Bengaluru and Mumbai international airport. And wants to expand it to 5-6 more offline stores in the next few months.

It sells the premium Indian teas to consumers using both online and offline methods.
