Billion.in domain has chosen by Flipkart for their own private label Brand “Billion”. Further details about Billion.in
It’s an interesting advertisement on the “Billion” brand, unfortunately no mention of the “Billion.in” domain name in the ad. In my opinion, It’s just commonsense to show they are real indian brand by just showing the Billion.in use too. I believe Digital marketing guys still need to pick up the domain name promotion as part of brand promotion?. Perhaps omitted purposefully so they can charge more money to Flipkart in future with new advertisements. If the Billion.in is shown as part of advertisement chances of some visitors visting Billion.in to find the information and in case a consumer select a particular product can be re-directed to Flipkart to complete the purchase. Overall the ad is good however it could have been much effective if “Billion.in” also shown at the end of the advertisement.
